Creation Healthcare in the USA welcomes new team members

By Joseph Lester

The number of United States healthcare professionals (HCPs) using public social media for professional and clinical purposes continues to grow. In fact, of more than 150,000 HCP social media profiles currently being studied by Creation Pinpoint, around half are located in the US.

Launched by Creation Healthcare in 2013, Creation Pinpoint® is a unique social media monitoring service that analyses online conversations from over 150,000 healthcare professional social media sources.  Each individual online HCP profile has been manually reviewed by Creation Healthcare’s Data Quality Team to ensure authenticity and to determine the role and location of the individual.

In response to this changing landscape and increased client demand, Creation Healthcare is now expanding its US team to offer additional in-country support and access to actionable insights from online HCP conversation.

This short film explains how Creation Pinpoint provides insights from HCPs in social media.

Chief Innovation Officer Paul Grant leads the new team and is based between Creation Healthcare’s New York City office in the Chrysler building, and the company’s global HQ in London.

Joining Paul are two highly experienced pharma professionals who combine industry experience with a passion for using social media insights to improve pharma market research.

Josephine Borrillo is Account Manager – Pharma Consulting, US Region with Creation Healthcare. Experienced in the pharmaceutical sector, Josephine brings an understanding of drug development and access, product launches and management, knowledge of patient, consumer and professional group relations and team management. Josephine holds a Medical Degree from the University of Rome, Italy, where she engaged in international research focusing on asthma and self-management courses with asthmatic patients and their caregivers. Today, Josephine tracks and researches how innovative technologies are being used by the patient / consumer and how they can or have changed health related behaviors.

Josephine says, “I believe that now is the time for Pharma to jump in and to derive insights from the rich social media landscape. It has become an integrated part of brand strategy, to keep track of what the Healthcare Professionals, as well as the entire ecosystem, including patients, payers etc  are “perceiving” and sharing.

Kimberly Kaiser, Creation Pinpoint Champion for the US, brings 10 years of experience to the ever-growing Creation Healthcare team with a background in medical communications.  She’s worked with leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies providing them with professional/educational marketing strategies and tactics for brand teams that included a wide range of activities, such as live events, online interactive programs, KOL Development and patient education materials, all targeted towards HCPs and patients. Adding to her experience, she also encompasses knowledge in various therapeutic areas, such as orthopedics, rheumatology, neurology, oncology, psychiatry, dermatology, endocrinology, infectious disease, and urology.

Kimberly is looking forward to developing long-term relationships that will give her the opportunity to help brand teams gain insights into healthcare professionals’ online conversations, as well as provide actionable solutions that result in successful brand outcomes.

“I’m so excited to be part of a company that offers a unique product and service that can provide our clients with more ways to see from the customers’ eyes and experience the market in full…social media is an untapped market that will inevitably become standard for any pharmaceutical brand marketing”, says Kimberly.

It is great to have Jo and Kim join us in what is an exciting time for Creation Healthcare in the United States.
