CREATION.co insights released in JMIR publication

CREATION.co’s Associate Director of Insight, Jamie Doggett and a team of pancreatic cancer specialists Udhayvir Singh Grewal, Arjun Gupta, Emil Lou, Niraj J Gusani, Anirban Maitra, Muhammad Shaalan Beg, Allyson J Ocean have recently been published in JMIR Cancer, 2022, having evaluated the content of discussions around pancreatic cancer on Twitter to identify subtopics of greatest interest to healthcare providers and the general public.

Responding to the news, Dr Udhayvir Grewal congratulated his colleagues.

While Jamie Doggett said “it was a real pleasure to be able to bring data to such an important therapy area and collaborate with these dedicated physicians”.

Pancreatic cancer study findings

A key finding from the study is that healthcare provider conversations on Twitter were not aligned with the general public around awareness days and celebrity diagnoses. Dr Shaalan Beg, drew out this insight when sharing the news with his Twitter network, asking “Ever wonder how ‘Cancer Awareness Months’ and celebrity cancer diagnosis effect the conversation around cancer?”:
