The latest insights from eHCPs mentioning the Top 50 Pharmaceutical Companies
The five pharmaceutical companies that were mentioned the most by eHCPs on X in February 2024 were Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca and Bayer.
CREATION.co identified 8,333 eHCP mentions of pharmaceutical companies in February 2024, decreasing by 2% over the previous month.
On 12 February, eHCPs discussed the new Pfizer advert shown at the Super Bowl – particularly celebrating its focus on the “Let’s Outdo Cancer” tagline.

The advert showcased many influential scientific figures, from Galileo to Einstein. The inclusion of Katalin Kariko – the scientist who discovered the COVID-19 vaccine – was cause for celebration amongst the eHCP community. Oncologist Vivek Subbiah took the opportunity to celebrate these figures, and also shared the tagline of “Let’s Outdo Cancer”.

On 26 February, epidemiologist Daniel Park shared an article looking at the 1 year durability data of the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine – calling it “pretty remarkable”. His post was shared by 17 eHCPs.

On 28 February, eHCPs shared the announcement of a collaboration between AstraZeneca and oncology research organisation ‘Sarah Cannon Research Institute’ (SCRI). eHCPs particularly celebrated the shared goal of developing a model that widens patient access and improves delivery times for clinical trials. Oncologist Ishwaria Subbiah shared a news article detailing this collaboration, which was shared by a further 2 eHCPs.

- Data for this research was analysed from the online X conversations of eHCPs in all languages mentioning a Top 50 Pharmaceutical company between 01 – 29 February 2024.
- Unless otherwise specified, mentions of a company are not limited to its X account(s).
- In some cases, an X post may mention more than one company account (e.g. @abbottnews and @abbottglobal) – this only counts as one Company Mention and Account Mention.
- Johnson & Johnson was included as a whole, encompassing its pharmaceutical subsidiary, Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (previously Janssen). In February 2024, 41 of these posts mentioned Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine or Janssen.
